The Endless Summer High School Tournament is the largest high school tournament on the East Coast, hosted by ACE at the Virginia Beach Field House.

This is an NFHS and VHSL sanctioned event.

Each team is guaranteed five matches with a minimum of ten sets. We will have four divisions of Girls Varsity, two divisions of Girls Junior Varsity and two divisions of Boys Varsity. All divisions will have four-team pools and four pools per division. Tournament format will be four four-team pools per division in the morning with four team brackets for playoffs. All matches will be the best of three sets.

Teams will be responsible for providing a score keeper for their matches. The two playing teams will each provide a person at the table, one will keep the book and the other will libero track and flip the score. Each team has the option of hiring a score keeper from the local HS assigning association. You can reach out to their commissioner, Mary Kylander, at

Under 54 – 8 – 1 the Virginia High School League has modified its contest limitations for volleyball. Each school has the choice of playing the following three scenarios 20 dual matches; or 18 dual matches and 1 invitational tournament; or 16 dual matches and 2 invitational tournaments.

  • Invitational tournaments may be conducted over no more than two consecutive days.
  • Teams participating in invitational tournaments may play a maximum of 15 sets per tournament.
